How Kimberly Caldwell Landed David Cook

David Cook may have asked Kimberly Caldwell out on a date on national TV, but it was really Kimberly who made the first move in their budding romance.

After hearing that the 25-year-old American Idol champ was interested in her, Kimberly waste no time in trying to get access to him, a source tells OK!.

“Kimberly made her way to the Idol set during a taping and asked one of the security guys to slip David her number," her pal tells OK!. "She insisted they tell him to call.”

Her wish was granted and, adds the source, the two went undetected for a month before anyone caught wind of their romance in May.

The new relationship -- which will be tested as David hits the road starting tomorrow for the American Idol tour -- came at just the right time for the 26-year-old season two finalist.

“Kimberly was going through a bad breakup at the time,” the source says. “She was thrilled when she heard David was into her.”

Jeremy Edwards is a British actor who has appeared in such fine quality programming as Celebrity Big Brother. Suffice to say then that he is also washed up and has a history of drug use. With said drug use he also got kind of chubby, and anyone knows that an actor only good for his looks has issues when he starts to get fat!!

So he decided to get the fat sucked out follow Mens Health's six-weeks to great abs challenge and now looks like this.

I'd definitely go to a Jeremy Edwards drug party and tell him that everythings okay and hes a fantastic actor and shit like that. You know I just want a little downtime with his 9th pec muscle.

This bitch clearly spent 89 hours a week in the Gym. I'm jealous and a little turned on.

After having lunch with best pal Ken Paves and a few other friends, Jessica Simpson left a Santa Monica restaurant with one of her pal’s baby boys in her arms.

The blonde pop tart seemed to love playing the role of caretaker as she held him close and talked and smiled for him as they made their way to her awaiting car.

Looks like Jessica is practicing for being an aunt in the near future, or, who knows, maybe a mother herself!!

Up-and-coming singer/songwriter Claude Kelly wrote the recently leaked Akon song "Hold My Hand" featuring Michael Jackson, but he confesses hearing the legendary singer's voice on the track the first time was a total surprise to him.

"I wrote the song and gave it to Akon with the intention of it going to maybe Whitney Houston, but Akon said he wanted to cut it himself. I thought, 'It doesn't get any bigger than this'," the 27-year-old New York native tells Billboard.com. "A few months after, Akon plays the song for me and all of a sudden I hear Michael Jackson's voice. I was literally shaking by the time the song was over."

The track, which is in contention to be the first single from Akon's new album, due late this year, has since been pulled off the Internet. As per when an actual Michael Jackson album will be released, Kelly says a date hasn't been set yet. What has been confirmed, as per Kelly's manager Michael "Make" Mentore from Star Power Media/Make Moves Management, is that the track will appear on both Akon and Jackson's albums.

Since penning the collaborative track, Kelly has been tapped to work not only with Akon and Whitney Houston but also with Jennifer Hudson, Frankie J, Brandy, New Kids On The Block, Toni Braxton, recent Def Jam signee Unique and Leona Lewis, including the latter's second single, "Forgive Me," which will be released in the coming weeks. He also wrote the entire debut solo album for Corbin Bleu from "High School Musical" fame.

As a child, Kelly took piano and flute lessons and sang with local choirs. He attended Brooklyn College of Music in 1999, and in 2002 wrote his first song, which was placed in a Bathing Ape compilation released in Japan. His first major placement came with "Daddy's Little Girl" from Frankie J's 2006 album "Priceless."

In the future, Kelly says he hopes to work with the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna, Usher, Chris Brown and Kelly Clarkson, among others. He also plans on delving into country and rock music as well.

Stardom seems to have gotten to Miley Cyrus' head.

The "Hannah Montana" star describes herself as the "coolest person ever" in an interview with People hitting newsstands tomorrow.

"Really, I think I'm chill," Cyrus added. "I am very hyper, but I'm very carefree."

The 15-year-old even went so far as to compare herself to the Queen of Pop.

"Madonna always reinvents herself, and that's what I want to do," Cyrus says. "Whatever comes my way that sounds good, that's what I want to do. Whether it's designing clothes or photography or whatever."

Or posing half-nude with her dad. Cyrus caused controversy last month when she appeared in Vanity Fair with her back exposed while holding a blanket against her chest. In another shot, she rests her head on her dad's thigh.

"A lot has happened," she admited. "There have been a lot of changes, but it's all good. I've been really blessed."
